1. Information Storage

Betta Care stores the data you create so it can sync across app sessions for your anonymous account:

• Fish care logs and records
• Photos you add to the app
• Preferences and settings
• Reminders and schedules

When you use Betta AI, Betta Care may also process:

• The messages you send to Betta AI
• Recent chat history needed to continue the conversation
• Betta profile and care context used to answer your question, such as notes, feedings, water changes, illnesses, and mood history
• AI feedback you choose to submit, including your rating, message, and optional email address

2. Authentication

• The app uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a non-personal account identifier
• You do not need to create a username or password to use the app
• This anonymous identifier is used only to associate your fish data with your app session
